Video Editor

A Video Editor’s role is to translate the director’s vision and treatment with the use of visuals and sound to create a cohesive story. He/she must have above-satisfactory skills in handling the director’s and/or client’s vision. Additionally, he/she must be able to craft work that still meets quality standards even with a tight time frame. An above average ability to handle projects with minimal supervision is a plus. Furthermore, a Go Motion Video Editor should have keen interest to improve their skills in post-production (color grading, 2D, 3D) because of this evolving industry.

• Above-satisfactory ability to translate it to solid edit design
• Above-satisfactory time management skills: sets priorities and manages workload so that assignments are completed
within need or expected time frames

• Above-average consistency in ensuring that finished work meets quality standards
• Above-average ability to accept and constructively use guidance and direction from seniors and the project director
to improve quality of work

• Demonstrates keen interest and huge potential in any of the craft elements of productions; color grading, 2D, 3D
• Above-satisfactory performance of other tasks as delegated by immediate superior

Production Art Director

A Production Art Director’s role is mainly creating storyboards that properly translates the Director’s vision and treatment for a video. These storyboards are important during the pre-production stage. A Production Art Director also makes assets for videos when needed. Their above-average visual acuity is also needed to help the team ensure that a video’s visual quality meets quality standards.
With a focus on creating storyboards for shoots, a Production Art Director requires above average skill in illustration.

• High-satisfactory, fast and effective interpretation of Director’s vision and able to translate it
to solid design concepts and storyboards

• Above-average visual acuity that manifests in ability to offer solutions that can readily be visualized
• Above-average project management skills that shows in timely clarification on assignment so that rework and effort spent
in developing appropriate ideas are minimal

• Above-average time management skills: sets priorities and manages workload so that assignments are completed
within needed or expected time frames

• High-satisfactory consistency in ensuring that finished work meets quality standards
• Above-average ability to accept and constructively use guidance and direction from seniors and the project director
to improve quality of work

• High-consistency in producing assets that meet technical requirements and standards
• High-satisfactory performance of other tasks as delegated by immediate superior
